Do you have to pay to attend Career Days?

No. Career Days is an event organized by AIESEC Swiss Career Days and the Local AIESEC Committees, it is an event which is free and open to all students.

For which events do I have to sign up?

You do not have to sign up to attend the fairs, these fairs are open to you to roam through freely. However for any of our additional services, such as workshops, presentations, one-2-one meetings, or the business lunch, we do require that you sign up online. You will find the times and locations of these events under the local pages. Note that some of these events have limited capacity and follow the rule of first come, first serve.

Is there a dress code for Career Days?

Career Days does not impose a specific dress code, however in order to increase your chance of making an impression on a future potential employer we highly encourage that you come formally dressed. Am I eligible to participate in Career Days?

Career Days fairs welcome all types and varieties of profiles, and anyone having heard of our fairs is welcome to attend. The companies present at our different locations operate in diverse sectors and cover a wide range of careers, so no matter what your background is, it is worth checking out! On this note, we do suggest that you come prepared and informed, in order to help you target the companies that may suit your needs.

How can I prepare myself for Career Days?

Career Days aims to create a bridge between students, or young professionals looking to launch their career, and companies. In this perspective, we have a number of suggestions that we think will improve your chances at making Career Days a more successful experience for you! These include dress code, mental preparation, goal setting, and a number of others, which you can find in our Student Guide (link).

hould I print my CV or can I upload it online?

Careerdays.ch gives you the opportunity to upload your CV online to make it easily accessible to employers from all over Switzerland attending the fairs. Although this is the most efficient way to allow companies to have access to you profile; we also suggest printing out a couple of copies of your CV and carrying them with you as you attend the stands and come into contact with the employers, this will enable you to directly show your interest in a specific company.

Can I attend more than one Career Days?

Of course! Switzerland has an array of unique Universities that specify in specific domains. Please check out which companies will be present at each of our locations, and do not hesitate to attend more than one of our fairs.
